With the end of term just next week, please find some important information, including dates for your diary.
ELECTRONIC NEWSLETTERS
Thank you to all of our parents/carers who have signed up to our newsletters by email scheme. Indeed, this is our first such newsletter which ten of our parents/carers have received by email. Please help us, if you can. By completing the slip at the end of the letter and we will gladly add you to our address list.
PARENT CONSULTATION WEEK
Thank you for supporting the work of the school by attending our recent parents’ evening - 89% of our parents/carers attended this event!
PARENT QUESTIONNAIRE
Thank you to all of those parents/carers who spent the time in completing the questionnaire we distributed during parents’ evening. These questionnaires are designed to help us improve various aspects of the school and your views are important to us. These questionnaires will shortly be looked at and the information gained will be sent home to you. If you haven’t completed a questionnaire and would like to participate, please contact us on the above telephone number and a copy will be sent home with your child. Completed questionnaires need to be returned to school by Wednesday, 19th March at the latest.
PHOTOGRAPHS
Many of you ordered a St David’s class photograph during parents’ evening. Please note that payment is necessary before these photographs are ordered. If you have ordered a photograph and not yet paid, please send your money in no later than Tuesday, 18th March. As a reminder, Gwent Gazette photographs cost £5.50 and photographs taken by staff cost 50p (for 7” by 5”) or £2 for (10” by 8”).
BEANIES
Beanies are now on sale for those who wish to purchase at a cost of £1. All proceeds are in aid of the excellent work of The Hospice of the Valleys.

All parents/carers and family members of Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children are invited to join us in sharing some songs, performances and celebrating the birthdays of children whose birthday falls between 1st January and 6th April.

10am – SILVER AWARD ASSEMBLY for children in Key Stage 2. Parents/carers and family members welcome.
11am Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 Easter Bonnet parade. Sorry, but we are unable to invite parents.
